If you would like to be put on our list for a puppy, we require a deposit of $200.00.  To secure a place on our list please call Frank to discuss the availability of a puppy from the next littler.  

Your puppy will have its tail docked according to AKC standards, dewclaws removed, wormed as needed, and the first set of puppy shots. All our puppies can be dual registered AKC and NAVHDA. Puppies from Mitten State are guaranteed free of kennel-borne illnesses for 7 days from the date the puppy is picked up, and from the hereditary and congenital disease for 2 years from the birth of each puppy.

We have been breeding dogs for over 20 years and have determined that the German Wirehaired Pointer has the personality and hunting drive that families and avid hunters both appreciate. We only breed one or two litters a year; our puppies are born in the house allowing us to socialize our puppies, getting them ready to make the transition to your new home. We also offer Mitten State Hunting Preserve as an option for you to train and hunt with your dogs.
